Merry Christmas! Here are a few photographs of some of the things I received this year including my favourite books and films, a tartan wool skirt, a black fur hat and mittens, Tim Walker book, Embryolisse moisturiser, a gold and leather watch, jasmine scented candle, beautiful handmade copper earrings from my aunt, frilly lace socks, ballet shoes, a metal and leather belt which reminds me of both pirates and sumo wrestlers, hair rollers, a midnight blue silk dress and of course the obligitary mound of chocolate coins.

I've had an unremarkable week spent drifting through each day feeling spaced out and tired. Tomorrow I'm going to begin decorating my bedroom by putting a persian rug underneath my bed, making bookshelves to go in my alcoves and stripping my white bed back to the iron, hopefully it will turn out how I imagine.
I'm not quite sure of the significance of these images and songs but they seem fitting with the way I'm feeling.

cold and pale and gold (but not really).
It's nearing towards my favourite time of year, I'm ill and working on my fashion sketchbook and listening to Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix a lot. A week or so ago I went to visit the V&A museum to look at the rococo and tudor sections and ended up doing this interview for i-D online... that is more or less everything.

This afternoon I visited such a beautiful place. I imagine going for a walk on an early winter's morning here or sitting in the grass reading a book in Spring; it all sounds sickeningly whimsical but country houses conjure these sorts of pathetic emotions and idealistic thoughts within me.
Typically I'd forgotten to bring my 'proper' camera with me and instead had to rely on various other electronic devices to document my day but once I've compiled all of the photographs I'll undoubtfully post them (this blog is lacking in taxidermy, pinned butterflies, sixteeth century architecture and oil paintings).

I like my room at the moment. Today I made a sort of 'mood wall' consisting of lots of film stills and various charles anastase, egon schiele, venetia scott, olivier rizzo, paolo roversi, boudicca, prada and rubens images.
